No. Point Bound is an independent research service, not a travel agency. You retain full control of your loyalty accounts and complete all bookings directly. Point Bound provides clear transfer and booking instructions and remains available to answer reasonable questions as you complete the process.

We cover the full range — domestic economy, domestic premium or first class, international economy, and international business or first class. Whether you're flying across the country or across the world, we find the smartest way to get there with the fewest points.

We work with all major credit card transferable currencies (Chase Ultimate Rewards, American Express Membership Rewards, Capital One Miles, Citi ThankYou Points, and Bilt Rewards) as well as frequent flyer programs across all major airline alliances — Star Alliance, Oneworld, and SkyTeam.

A $50 deposit is collected when the request is submitted. It becomes immediately nonrefundable upon payment, is credited toward your selected service fee, and reserves the time needed for intake review, communication, preparation, and research availability. If Point Bound declines the request or cannot provide the purchased service, the deposit will be refunded.

Award space is publicly visible inventory that any traveler can claim at any time. Once we identify and provide an appropriate bookable option meeting the agreed criteria, our monitoring obligation ends even if you delay or decide not to book it. If a seat is taken by another traveler before you complete your booking, that is beyond our control and does not change the deposit policy.

If no suitable award-flight option is available during the initial search, Pinnacle includes continued monitoring for up to 90 calendar days from the date the initial search results are delivered. Monitoring is limited to the agreed destinations, dates or date range, cabin, number of travelers, and other search criteria. Monitoring ends when an appropriate bookable flight option is identified and provided, the 90-day period expires, the requested travel date passes, you book another option, or you ask us to stop. Award availability and successful booking are not guaranteed.

No. We work exclusively with publicly available award inventory through standard airline and hotel loyalty programs. We don't have insider allotments or unpublished space. What we bring is deep expertise in knowing where to find availability, how to structure routing, and which transfer partners unlock the most value.

Most itineraries are researched and delivered within 3–5 business days of your deposit. Complex multi-city or last-minute itineraries may take longer. We'll communicate throughout the process so you're never left wondering where things stand.

You'll receive a clear, step-by-step breakdown of the recommended routing along with instructions for transferring your points and completing the booking. Point Bound remains available to answer reasonable questions as you complete the booking process.

Yes. If your current balances fall short, we can advise on the fastest ways to close the gap — credit card transfer bonuses, co-branded card spend, or program promotions. We'll work with what you have and be upfront if a different routing or cabin class makes more sense given your balance.
